I hope technology will help make school more intriguing for the students and less stressful for the teachers!

I’m excited! My tech savyness is growing by leaps and bounds this summer. I’m becoming privy to using software in my classroom to advance my student’s learning.

Trying to run away from it isn’t going to make it go away. You need to step and loose your fear. Will you be able to survive, 10 -20 years from now.

I’m excited to incorperate technology into my writing curriculum. As a teacher today, it’s hard to not keep up with all the changes in the “tech” world. Most students are using it on a daily basis. My concern about their safety online is something that I hope to address in the upcoming year.

My hope is to gain more tools and techniques that students will like and buy into.
Learning is done in stages and we are all just at different stages of learning.

Technology in the classroom will help the students become more prepared for the real world. Using technology will lead to more successes in school. The school district will need to provide more professional development and teachers need to share their ideas.

I am so thankful for this course and the opportunity to learn how to find more “tools” for the classroom! All of a sudden, new possiblities come alive! It is exciting!

I do like the use of technology in the classroom, but I am concerned about student access outside of the classroom, the class time it may take to educate kids about certain programs, and language formalities (or lack of).

Fears are that technology will outpace the schools and teachers desired and ability to keep current due to dollars/time needed. Hopes are that there will always be that wonderful GEEK close by to solve the problems quickly as they arrive.

It’s like chatting with friend. Your listening to their opinion. Agree or disagree with them in this case no hurt feelings since you can be annynomis or not.
